THIS GATHERING IS AN OPPORTUNITY..

TO practice and PLAY - with the Wheel of Consent!

This is not a class for newbies; you MUST have attended a Wheel of Consent workshop within the last couple of years. If you have not, NO WORRIES! We are offering a refresher, an Intro class, several times per year!

The idea for this gathering is to come together and build community with people who have an understanding of the wheel of consent, have practiced or played with it in the past, and want to have regular opportunities to touch and be touched within clear containers and with clear agreements.

This is CLOTHES ON - NOT SEXUALLY SPECIFIC TOUCH group.

Of course, these tools are great for sexual intimacy, but let's practice together in low-stakes ways.

The Wheel of Consent is a tool I belive we need, as a response to the #metoo movement, as a tool for self-agency and empowerment, and an important part of a skill set needed to create new culture as systems around us fall...

Together, let's explore:

Generosity

Gratitude

Integrity

and a space that is safe enough to Surrender...

Let's PLAY!

What would it be like to be gentle, clear, and respectful – as you ask for what you want?

What would it be like to feel comfortable saying No or setting a limit, and doing so with clarity and grace?

The Wheel of Consent is great for enhancing your personal and intimate life.

What surprises most people is how much it affects the rest of their lives, too.

The Wheel of Consent is a model of interaction that is based on exchanges of touch but applies to much more. It sheds light on troublesome and confusing interactions and clears them up. It turns out to describe the fundamental dynamics of most human relating.

Many people have found this practice to be life-changing.

The Wheel brings clarity, ease, freedom, gratitude, and generosity in all your interactions.

Corinne Diachuk
Corinne Diachuk

I am a mother, a lover, a yoga therapist, a lifelong erotic adventurer, a certified wheel of consent facilitator, a past president of the SSEA, and part of the founding faculty of the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education. I live on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish First Nations peoples, colonially known as Victoria BC. I am passionate about creating safe enough spaces for folks to have conversations with their bodies about pleasure and offering practical tools for negotiating consent from this empowered place. I have a dream, that the healing work we are doing here and now in our bodies, we can send down into the earth to the ancestors of this land, and we can send forward to future generations in peace and reconciliation. I love dark chocolate, snuggling with my tiny puppy, and getting my hands dirty. www.corinnediachuk.com
